Outlook 2007 Syncing with Seton Hall Email from Home

When linking my SHU email to my Outlook client I get the following error: Send test e-mail message:

Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated.

I followed the instructions on post http://setonhall.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Student-Email-Through-MS-Outlook-2010/257099-11810 and post http://setonhall.ideascale.com/a/dtd/password-info/303127-11810 . However, I am using Outlook 2007. What should I do to fix it?

    As of January 3rd, 2012 the university has changed the way in which student mail passwords are handled. Before attempting to connect to your email please make sure that you complete a PirateNet (aka Active Directory) password reset and then attempt to follow the steps referenced in the posting again but please input your PirateNet password
