Managing Grades in Blackboard for Instructors

I teach a large enrollment class with many exams and assignments. In Blackboard, how can I quickly see which items still need grading?

The Needs Grading page in Blackboard allows instructors to easily access grade center attempts that need grading. On this page, you can view tests and assignments that students have submitted, and you have many options to filter/sort that will allow you to manage the items more efficiently. For example, you can filter by item (i.e., Final Exam) and student (i.e., John Doe) to go directly to that student’s attempt. Or, you can view all attempts for that item. You also have the ability to grade exams by question or view all attempts for that particular assessment.

To access this page, go to the Course Management area on the bottom left side of your course page in Blackboard and expand the Grade Center link. Then, click on "Needs Grading".
