Course links are shortcuts from one place in a Blackboard course to another location within the same course. You can add a course link that will direct students to a particular location, tool, or document within your course. To create a course link, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Content Area where you would like to place the link. Be sure that Edit Mode is turned on.

2. Hover your mouse over the Build Content button at the top and select Course Link.

3. In the Text field, enter the text to appear under the link name in the Content Area.

4. Click Browse to view the course map and select the item you want to link to.

5. Choose any other options as you wish.

6. Click Submit.
