BB problem
I'm trying to submit a work in BB, but when I click on the link, a error message pop-up, it is something that the site is "out of sync". What do I do? I need to submit my work. There is any phone number I can call?

Getting started is easy: To ask a question, click the Submit New Question button below. You will then be asked to add a title and choose a category. You will also have the option of adding some tags. To vote on a topic, click the thumbs up or thumbs down button to the left of the question title. To add a comment, click on the name of the question, and then type your text in the “Add your comment” box at the bottom of the page.
If you would like to see all questions with a specific tag, you can click on the word or phrase in the left navigation area under "What we're discussing". You can also view questions in a particular category in the left navigation area. To return to this page, click the SHU Tech Help Home link at the top of the page.

When going to access Alumni e-mail, the button that says "Log In" is not there. Hence, there is no way to access my Alumni E-mail account.

I'm using a fairly new HP Windows 8 computer and when I log into PirateNet, it only shows the top and lower banner with no usable interface. I have previously logged in and had no problem, but for the last week I've had this problem.
How do I connect to the "shuair" Guest Wireless Network?
I just got my new phone, and I am unable to get my student email on my phone. I followed the instructions that you have online, but for the part where you input the server there is no section for server, only Domain and I do not know what to do after that point.

It's been so incredibly frustrating for everyone.

There is a channel in PirateNet that I need to use and when PirateNet loads, it gives an error.
Channel ID: u39l1n892
Message: encountered problem while trying to complete rendering
Error Type: General error (code 0)
Error Message: General channel rendering failure.
Refreshing the channel fails and using different browsers does not help.
This year was my first year at Seton Hall and I received the Samsung Ultrabook for my laptop this year. I came to Seton Hall with an Associates Degree and was able to register as a junior for next fall due to the amount of hours I have. Does this qualify me for the junior refresh next year?
My slate recently slipped of my desk and hit the floor in the case. When I picked it up, the touch screen didn't work. Is there something I can do to fix it or should I got to Corrigan to have them fix it
I have seen several question on how to get student email on iPad, but none of them have worked for me. Are they outdated or is there a trick or something that I am missing? I just received my PirateNet information today (I am an incoming freshman); could that have anything to do with it?

The University experienced a network connectivity outage since 7 a.m. this morning.
At this time University IT Services has determined that an equipment problem in McNulty Hall has caused routing issues throughout the University network.
McNulty Hall has been isolated from the campus network and services are slowly being restored to the rest of the campus. McNulty Hall will remain disconnected from the University network until the problem is resolved.
Currently, campus wireless access, internet connectivity, access to Blackboard and PirateNet, card-readers and Pirate's Gold are also on line.
E-mail messages have begun to filter through to the University community.
Updates will continue throughout the evening.

Hello, I've recently got my Windows 8 Tablet rebooted and I need to set up my outlook e-mail on the mail app. I was wondering what the server address and domain is since typing in my e-mail address and password does not work alone.
Wasn't this network installed only last summer? doesn't it say on the setup page that the new network doesn't support Windows XP or Vista? You'd think a new network would not only be faster, but MORE accessible to students, many of whom are coming in with laptops either updated to or preinstalled with Windows 8.. Wasn't this network installed only last summer? doesn't it say on the setup page that the new network doesn't support Windows XP or Vista? You'd think a new network would not only be faster, but MORE accessible to students, many of whom are coming in with laptops either updated to or preinstalled with Windows 8.. This seems like a huge oversight, not to mention that fact that NOWHERE in the Seton Hall Windows 8 blog page, new wireless network page, or the tech pages in general does it indicate any lack of compatibility between Windows 8 and the wireless network. Can somebody please make information about the workaround for this more readily available? I have listed above three places off the top of my head that it would make sense to inform people about this, at least one of them should address this issue.
Anyways thats just one person's opinion, I guess if it works with Seton Hall-issued computers thats all they care about..
P.S. your website is otherwise pretty nice. I like that you can post questions.

Any fix for this? I've tried resetting my iPad, resetting the Network Settings.

There are currently intermittent issues accessing Pirate Net and Banner at this time. The Department of Information Technology is currently working to resolve the issue.
I am in my 5th year here at SHU. a little over 2 years ago i got my laptop upgrade. I was under the assumption that every 2 years you get a new laptop here at SHU. We pay over $600 a semester for it, is it possible to get another upgrade?
Also, i have gotten the Blue Screen multiple times over the last few months.
When I click the email link on pirate net I get this
"Outlook Web App is currently disabled for user __________@student.shu.edu."
I am a returning student and I don't know what to do to access the account
I noticed that the website indicated that Banner was going to be down yesterday; however I am still not able to access it. Can you tell me when it will be back up, please?
Hi, I have an Ipad that I am working with for one of my education classes. How can I connect to the Wi-Fi connection while I am in school.
